「Van Cliffe.D」 Biography
Elli-Rose, daughter of a Japanese photographer and an English art director. Raised between Tokyo and London. Now based in Tokyo where she was born. Her work with television, fashion magazines, organizing club/fashion parties and other medias opened the doors to her DJ career as Van Cliffe.D in 2007. It was only a short while before she began appearing regularly at Tokyo events and club scenes. Always had great passion towards Techno, Deep House, House and Disco Music. Inspired by big names such as Luciano, Richardo Villalobos, DJ Harvey and Larry Levan. Now, touring not only around Japan but overseas, most of Asia, Los Angeles and Ibiza. July 2009, Released her first Mix album from Universal Records, self titled as “Van Cliffe.D”.
日本でのレディースファッション誌やファッションショーそしてテレビなどと様々なメディアを通して活躍し絶大な人気を誇るモデルELLI-ROSE。東京のパーティーシーンでも有名で、2007年から自らクラブイベントをオーガナイズし始めたのをきっかけにVan Cliffe.D (バンクリフ ディー) としてDJ活動を開始。クラブミュージック界では有名なLuciano, Richardo Villalobos, DJ Harvey, Larry Levanなどの世界のDJ等から影響を受け、テクノ、ハウス、ディスコ、ディープハウスを自在に操り、国内のみならずアジア各国ロサンゼルスやスペインのイビザでもDJデビューを果たした実力者。そして2009年7月には初のオリジナルミックスアルバム『Van cliffe.D』をユニバーサルからリリース。今では多方面からのクラブイベント、パーティーなどからの出演オファーが殺到している、今年大注目の女性DJ。
